A. Turf can be laid all year round, with the correct watering and aftercare.
Q. How often should you water the turf?
A. Turf always needs to be kept moist. It will need more water during hot, dry or windy periods.
Q. How deep should topsoil be for turf?
A. 6 inches or 150mm.
Q. Can we collect turf from you?
A. Yes, we have 2 sites in North Devon. Collection is usually available the same day.
Q. Should you compact topsoil before laying turf?
A. Yes. Topsoil should be levelled, compacted and raked, to leave stone free with a fine tilth.
